This article is not specifically refering to the abortion article, but a new one that the LA Times are putting together.
Message to Duncan Hunter from a Committed Fred Thompson supporter---
I really like Duncan Hunter. The very fact that Ann Coulter continues to support your candidacy regardless of your standing in the national polls says a lot. You have a wonderful congressional record. Outstanding in fact. I have to make a plea here. I do not want liberal Hukabee---a man who raised taxes more than Clinton did when he was governor--to become the nominee. I am completely supporting Fred Thompson--and I think Tom Tancredo is going to come out supporting him. For the sake of the party of Reagan--I urge Duncan Hunter to withdraw his candidacy and support Fred Thompson. Representative Hunter, you are a great statesman--and I like you a lot. I believe our party is in jeopardy of losing its soul. If Huckabee or Giuliani becomes the nominee our party will further move to the left. Again, with great respect, I urge you, Representative Hunter, to support Frederick Dalton Thompson for President of the United States of America.
